Take city bus No. 1 (direction Kriens/Obernau) from in front of Lucerne Train Station — 11 minutes to "Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus" stop.
Board the panoramic gondola at the valley station in Kriens for a 15-minute ride to Krienseregg (middle station). Terrace restaurant available for a break.
Continue on the gondola to Fräkmüntegg. Optional activities: rope park or self-service restaurant at this mid-station.
Transfer to the "Dragon Ride" aerial cableway for a spectacular 5-minute ride to the 2,132 m summit. Cockpit-style windows give a helicopter-like perspective.
Enjoy panoramic views over Lake Lucerne and 73 Alpine summits. Options: panoramic gallery, summit terrace, short peak climbs (5–10 min), restaurant at Hotel Bellevue or Hotel Pilatus Kulm.
