Check-in & briefing

Meet your tandem instructor at Höheweg 95. Complete paperwork, receive a safety briefing and get fitted with your skydiving equipment.

Transfer to Reichenbach Airfield

Bus transfer (30 minutes)

Board the bus to the drop zone in Reichenbach (30-minute drive). Spectators must arrange their own transport or drive separately.

Reichenbach Airfield

Ascent & scenic flight (15 minutes)

Board the jump plane and climb to 4,000 metres. Enjoy stunning aerial views of Interlaken, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and the Jungfrau massif — Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau — as the aircraft climbs.

The Freefall

45-second freefall

Exit the aircraft at 4,000 m and experience 45 seconds of pure freefall at up to 200 km/h (120 mph). Your tandem instructor manages the entire jump — all you do is enjoy it.

Canopy ride

Parachute descent (5–7 minutes)

Once the parachute deploys, take a breath and absorb the silence. A 5–7 minute glide back to the drop zone with a 360° alpine panorama all around you.

Reichenbach Airfield

Landing & return

Touch down safely with your instructor. Optional: purchase your photo and video package on the spot. Return bus to Interlaken centre.

Know before you go

  • Minimum age: 12 years. Ages 12–15 must be accompanied by a parent; ages 16–17 require written parental consent before the activity.
  • Weight limits strictly enforced: minimum 40 kg (88 lbs), maximum 105 kg (231 lbs). The drop zone manager may refuse your jump if you do not meet requirements on the day.
  • Minimum height: 1.4 m (4 ft 7 in).
  • The airfield is in Reichenbach — a 30-minute drive from Interlaken. Spectators must arrange their own transport.
  • Handcam footage is filmed from the tandem instructor's wrist. Additional photo/video packages available on the day.
  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are required.
  • Baby strollers and large luggage are not permitted at the airfield.
